When Returning Equipment for Restocking

  1. Request an RMA Number

You must obtain an RMA number before returning material to BatchController.com. This is done by completing the online RMA form.

Before submitting an RMA form you need:

  • Part number of product in question. For EBU Logic Boards or Power Supply Boards, the part number can be found on the front or back of the board, or from the product order invoice.

  • Name of a contact at your company

  • Detailed description of the problem with the equipment

  • Date of delivery

BatchController.com will notify you of your RMA #, when you submit your RMA form.

All RMA #'s are valid for 14 days from the issue date.

  1. Review Your Warranty

Please note the length of the warranty of the returning item(s).  If out of warranty, you need to send a check or Purchase Order for our bench/technitian fee of $150.00 per item ($75.00 per hour, minimum 2 hours). See more information regarding warranties.

Also note that many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) warrant their products for many years. If your BatchController.com's warranty has expired, please check with the OEM for warranty and repairs.

  2. Packaging Your Equipment

After receiving your RMA number, use the following steps to prepare your package for shipment:

  • Use a box large enough to allow for adequate cushioning material on all sides of the equipment.

  • To properly cushion the contents of your package, wrap each item separately. Use proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.

  • Include in your shipment a description of the problem and a point of contact at your company.

  • Firmly tape the lid of the box with packaging tape.

  1. Labeling Your Package

When shipping a package, include your RMA number on the label. Send the package to the following address:

    S.J. Controls, Inc.
